Prime Visa sign-up bonus: Back to the usual offer

December 8, 2024: The limited-time offer on the Prime Visa has ended.

Here’s the current bonus offer on the Prime Visa: bonus_miles_full

The Prime Visa is an essential card for Amazon Prime shoppers, thanks to its 5% cash back rewards on Amazon Prime purchases and the inclusion of extended warranty and purchase protection benefits.

My take: An essential card for Amazon Prime with the best bonus since we’ve started tracking

If you have Amazon Prime and don’t already have the Prime Visa, what are you doing with your life?!?

Okay, in reality, which card to use for Amazon is probably way down on your priority list, but getting this card is an easy call. This card is the best card to use at Amazon.com for most purchases. It earns 5% rewards on your purchases and the inclusion of both extended warranty protection and purchase protection means that you don’t have to worry about giving up rewards for essential benefits—you get both.

The current $150 gift card bonus is the standard offer on this card. You can probably get a better bonus by waiting until November 2025—in 2024, Amazon upped the offer for about a month in November and early December. But, honestly, you’d probably miss out on more than $50 in rewards during the year if you wait.

If you have Amazon Prime and don’t already have this card, get it now.
