Are you eligible to earn the sign-up bonus?

Many card issuers restrict new cardmembers from earning a bonus based on account history or the accounts you have open. Here’s how to determine if you’re eligible for the bonus.

  • You can currently have this or other Ink cards. While some Chase cards restrict you from earning a bonus if you’ve had the same card or a card in the same family recently, the Chase Ink-branded cards have no such restriction. You can earn the bonus more than once and can earn a bonus if you already hold the same card.
  • You are under 5/24. Generally, Chase will only approve you if your credit report shows fewer than 5 new credit card accounts opened in the last 24 months. But some readers have reported being approved while being “over 5/24.” Learn more about 5/24.

A few interesting notes about this sign-up bonus

Could the $900 bonus cash back on the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card be here to stay? Personally, I think so. Here’s why…

Usually when Chase increases a sign-up bonus on its cards, they will have language on their website about the offer being a “limited time offer.” However this language is conspicuously absent from this bonus. Also, the launch of this bonus online coincides with Chase lowering the bonus that people who refer others to Chase cards get.

The combination of these two things makes me think that this bonus is the new “business-as-usual” bonus on the Ink Unlimited, but time will tell if my speculation is correct.

Frequently asked questions

The bonus says $900, but I thought the card earned Ultimate Rewards®.

Yes. This card earns Ultimate Rewards® points, which can be combined across all of your Ultimate Rewards-earning cards. However, the card is marketed as a cash back card, so you’ll always see $900 as the welcome bonus.

How do I get the $900 Chase Ink sign-up bonus?

The $900 Chase Ink sign-up bonus is now available online as well as in-branch. Apply through the links on this page to earn a bonus.

Can I get a more than one Ink card?

It is certainly possible to be approved for more than one Chase Ink credit card. You have four cards to choose from: Ink Business Cash® Credit Card, Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card, Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, and Ink Business Premier® Credit Card. There is no rule preventing you from holding multiple Ink cards, but at some point Chase will limit the amount of credit it is willing to extend to you.
