November 18, 2024: We learned that the in-branch offer on the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card matches the online offer, so we updated the article.
The Ink Business Cash® Credit Card welcome bonus is now even easier to earn. Earlier this year, Chase made a change to the welcome bonus of the Ink Cash card. You’ll now earn $350 when you spend $3,000 within the first three months and an additional $400 when you spend a total of $6,000 within the first six months.
Here’s what you need to know about the Chase Ink Cash welcome bonus, a welcome bonus that makes our list of the best cash back welcome offers and is one of the best Ultimate Rewards® offers available.
Best bonus available: Earn up to $750 cash back

This welcome bonus is marketed as cash back, but earned as Ultimate Rewards® points.
My take on the Chase Ink Business Cash® welcome bonus
Earlier this year, Chase split the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card welcome bonus into a two-tiered bonus that makes the bonus even easier to earn. You earn $350 after spending $3,000 within 3 months and then another $400 after spending a total of $6,000 within 6 months. (Previously, you needed to spend the full $6,000 within 3 months to earn a $750 bonus.)
Earning $750 after spending a total of $6,000 is a great welcome offer, full stop. But what makes this bonus especially compelling is that the Ink Business Cash card earns Ultimate Rewards® points behind the scenes. That means that you can transfer your points to premium cards like the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card or the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and use the premium redemption options available on those cards for more value.
The card previously offered an additional bonus for small business owners who had checking accounts with Chase, but that ended on November 8, 2024. The card has also previously offered larger bonuses, but the last time the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card was increased, the Ink Cash wan’t increased byt a similar amount.
Yes, you can get a small business credit card!
My business (this blog, writing, and consulting) means I can get a small business credit card. But you likely qualify for a small business credit card, even if you work for someone else. Even if you sell things online or on Facebook marketplace occasionally, you probably have a business and can are eligible to get a small business credit card. A hobby that you’re trying to monetize (even a small one) can be a small business!
For my small business, the 5% I earn on the first $25,000 of combined purchases at office supply stores and on internet, cable, and phone services comes in handy.
