December 11, 2024: If you hold a Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card or Chase Sapphire Reserve®, you can get a massive amount of points with Peloton equipment and accessory purchases, thanks to a promotion that Chase and Peloton are running through March 31, 2025.
Here’s what you need to know to get the most points on your Peloton purchases.
About the Chase Peloton offer
The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve® both offer bonus points on Peloton equipment and accessory purchases over $150 through March 31, 2025.
With the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, you’ll get 5x points and with the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, you’ll get 10x points. And these points are Ultimate Rewards® points, which can be redeemed for cash back, used for travel through Chase Travel℠ for increased value, or transferred to one of Chase’s travel transfer partners.
Naturally, the Chase Peloton offer is a great deal if you’re thinking of getting a new Peloton bike or tread, but you don’t have to purchase Peloton’s newest equipment to get a bonus. Any purchase made at onepeloton.com over $150 should trigger the bonus.
Yes, you can use the bonus multiple times.
The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card has a maximum bonus of 25,000 points and the Chase Sapphire Reserve® has a maximum bonus of 50,000 points for the duration of the promotion. Unless you’re purchasing a new Tread+, you’re not likely to run into this cap in a single purchase.
That means you can continue to use your Chase Sapphire card for all of your Peloton purchases through March 31, 2025 and earn bonus points, up to the promotion cap on each card.
Combine with a new cardmember welcome offer to earn even more rewards.
If you don’t already have a Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card or Chase Sapphire Reserve®, you can get a new card and earn a new cardmember welcome bonus for even more points. New cardmember welcome bonuses require spending a certain amount on the card to earn the bonus, but a large Peloton purchase can get you most of the way there. Here are the current new cardmember welcome bonuses on the Chase Sapphire cards.

Terms and conditions of the Peloton offer
Here are the terms and conditions from Chase’s website. You can see that you’ll earn points on up to $5,000 of total purchases when you use your card to purchase equipment and accessories directly from Peloton through March 31, 2025.
Chase extended warranty: Another reason to take advantage of the Peloton Chase offer
Getting up to $750 in travel rewards from your Peloton purchases is a great reason to put your new Peloton equipment purchase on your Sapphire card. But there’s another reason you will want to use your Chase card for your purchase. Both the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve® offer the Chase Extended Warranty benefit.
The Chase extended warranty gives you an extra year of warranty protection on original manufacturer’s warranties up to 3 years. The warranty on your Peloton equipment provides different amounts of coverage depending on what fails. Most equipment frames come with a 5 year warranty, which would not be eligible for extended warranty coverage, but motors and screens often come with warranties of 3 years or less, which the Chase Extended Warranty benefit would extend.
My experience with the Chase Peloton offer
We preordered our Peloton Tread+ and received it in April. We used a new Chase Sapphire Reserve® card for the purchase, which means we were able to double-dip and get 10x points from the Sapphire Reserve® Peloton offer and have the spending count toward a new cardmember welcome bonus. We got 50,000 points from the Chase Peloton offer and and another 60,000 points from the then-current Sapphire Reserve welcome offer, which we can use for $1,650 worth of travel through Chase Travel℠.
