Here’s how you can change your Bank of America® Customized Cash Rewards card 3% category on Bank of America’s website.
Log into your account at bankofamerica.com and click on the “Rewards” tab within the account management portal. You will see your Rewards Summary, which shows you your total available rewards and displays your currently selected 3% category.
Click on “Change 3% Category” and you’ll pull up a screen showing you how much you’ve earned in each eligible category. If you want to change your category, simply click on a new category and click “OK.”
You’ll be reminded that you can change your category only once every calendar month and you’ll be asked to confirm your category change.
