Chase Ultimate Rewards® transfer bonuses: 50% to Marriott and 40% to Virgin Atlantic in November 2024

November 5, 2024: Chase Ultimate Rewards® is currently offering a 50% transfer bonus to Marriott Bonvoy and a 40% bonus to Virgin Atlantic.

If you hold a premium Ultimate Rewards® credit card, you can transfer your Ultimate Rewards points to any one of Chase’s 11 airline transfer partners and three hotel transfer partners. Transfers to travel partners are key to maximizing the value of your Ultimate Rewards points and a transfer bonus can provide opportunity to get additional value.

Here’s what you need to know about the current Ultimate Rewards transfer bonuses.

My take: Don’t transfer Marriott, but Virgin Atlantic can provide decent value

First off, don’t transfer your Ultimate Rewards® points to Marriott. Unless you have a specific redemption in mind that provides exceptional value, you’re likely to get more value simply redeeming your points for one cent each and paying for your Marriott stay in cash.

There are some interesting redemptions available with Virgin Atlantic, but don’t think that transferring your points to Virgin is going to get you into Delta One Suites across the Atlantic at an affordable rate. Virgin recently axed this sweet spot redemption and now prices many of its rewards dynamically.
